An Icy Expansion for Dredge
The waters of the Archipelago are about to get a little colder this November. It’s time to follow in the footsteps of a previous expedition. An expedition lost to time and the cold bite of the winter water. Today, Team17 and Black Salt Games are excited to announce the first expansion for their critically acclaimed fishing adventure, Dredge. The expansion, titled “The Pale Reach”, introduces an entire host of new content this November when it thaws out. Of course, the expansion is following three updates that have already been adding more and more to the game. A press release provides more details on the expansion and the game itself. Additionally, a new trailer gives gamers a total look at what they can expect from the expansion.Â
Dredge invites players to step into the boots of a fisherman. Exploring the archipelago isn’t the easiest life but it is your life. Of course, players will do anything they can to make a living, the easiest way to do this is by catching fish and selling them at the various harbors. Yet, once night falls the the waters become dangerous, and huge monsters lurk below the waves.Â
Importantly, The Pale Reach is bringing a load of content to Dredge. For instance, players can expect to explore an icy new biome, hunt 11 new fish and crab species, new tools to break through the ice, and of course new foes to face. Dredge is out now on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox consoles. The Pale Reach is releasing on November 16th, 2023.Â
