Sonic Superstars: Trio of Trouble’s New 5 Minute Animation Reveals Fang the Hunter and Trip
Excitement is building for Sega’s upcoming release of Sonic Superstars on October 17th, 2023. In addition, to add to the hype they’ve dropped a captivating animation titled “Sonic Superstars: Trio of Trouble.”
This five-and-a-half-minute animation introduces us to a brand new antagonist, Trip, and marks the much-anticipated return of Fang the Hunter. It’s an entertaining peek into Trip’s character, said to be a departure from the typical Sonic game villains.
Sonic Superstars, developed by Arzest, offers a modern 2D adventure with visually stunning graphics. Players can choose from Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, or Amy to tackle levels, with the option for local multiplayer co-op and online multiplayer PvP.
Having gone hands-on with the game at this year’s Summer Game Fest, we’re optimistic about its prospects, suggesting that it might further solidify Sonic’s resurgence in the 2D gaming world.
