Paradox Interactive stated, “The additional time allows us to focus on matching the quality and performance across all platforms.”. Furthermore, fans can expect the quality they initially expected for Cities: Skylines 2 but at a later date in spring 2024.
For fans eager to play on PC, the game is still set to release on October 24th. Paradox Interactive expressed their excitement for the PC release by saying “In the meantime, we are excited to welcome PC players to build their dream cities on October 24.”.
We will continue to post updates on the release of Cities: Skylines 2 for consoles. Until then, PC fans can still enjoy the game on their initial release date of October 24th. However, console players will have to wait until spring 2024.
