Beneath Oresa is Journeying Out of Early Access

It’s time to venture into the depths. Ready your weapons, ready your companions and prepare for an action-packed deck builder like you have never seen. Today, Broken Spear Inc. is happy to announce that their roguelike fighting deck builder, Beneath Oresa, is leaving Steam Early Access. Combining elements of both roguelike and CCG games and wrapping them up in fighting game packaging, the game allows players to embark on an adventure with a unique art style. A press release provides some more details on the game. Additionally, a full launch trailer gives players a glimpse of the art style and unique gameplay of the game. 

Beneath Oresa introduces players to an entire cast of characters deep within the titular city. Here players will choose their companions and descend into the depths below the city. Importantly, each companion and character comes with their own unique playstyle and cards that can be built. Of course, players will need to think strategically, constructing their deck and choosing upgrades and artifacts However, once the battle begins, players will need to position properly, taking advantage of their enemy’s mistakes as they engage in turn-based action-packed battles. Interestingly, the game combines turn-based CCG combat with the movement of an RTS and the animations of a fighting game.
