Mugen Souls Z Is Arriving on the Nintendo eShop in September

Mugen Souls Z Is on Its Way

We are happy to share the official release date of the cult classic sequel Mugen Souls Z. It is finally coming to Nintendo eShop in North America, Europe, and Hong Kong on 14 September. You can even preorder the physical version on Payasia.

Mugen Souls Z

The original Mugen Souls is a Japanese role-playing video game developed by Compile Heart and Idea Factory. It was released in Japan for PlayStation 3 on March 22, 2012, and in North America and Europe by NIS America on July 23, 2013. Nintendo also released a Switch port in April of this year.

Mugen Souls received praise for its humor, its over-the-top characters, and its extensive customization options. However, people have criticized the game for its repetitive gameplay and lack of difficulty.

The new sequel is developed by the same team behind its prequel. But it will be published by Eastasiasoft Limited for Nintendo Switch in regions outside of Japan. Moreover, the Physical Limited Editions will include the game, a manual, a 2-disc soundtrack, sticker sheets, an art book, and a numbered certificate, all enclosed within a collector’s box. Standard copies are also up for grabs.
