Double Puzzles
Prepare to enter a mirrored world full of wonder and magic. Players can unravel a philosophical story of nature and love. Today, Short N Sweet Games and The Bricks Studio are happy to announce the release date for their single-player puzzle platformer, Mirrored Souls. Releasing August 23rd for PC and consoles, the game invites players to explore two different worlds as they solve braidlike puzzles. A press release provides more details on the game. Additionally, players can check out the trailer for a glimpse of the game.
Mirrored Souls invites players to step into a hand-drawn universe where two worlds collide. Importantly, players take on the role of one or both of the characters, Ravi and Daru. As celestial beings, these two are chained to their respective worlds. Of course, this proves a difficulty to the two beings who are madly in love with one another. Interestingly, the two end up traversing various portals always looking for a way to find one another. However, they need to solve puzzles to find their way through these portals. Interestingly, players will need to find the most creative ways they can to figure out these puzzles. Yet, there is a catch. Moving one character moves the other. As such, players will need to pay attention to both characters to solve the puzzles, all while enjoying a narrative about love and nature.
Of course, players can get a look at the game in the trailer. Importantly, the trailer is able to show off the beautiful hand-drawn style of Mirrored Souls as well as grant a glimpse of the gameplay mechanics. Check it out below.
