It’s time to step into a beautiful pixel art world full of danger and adventure. Of course, gamers better be ready for some classic hack-and-slash action. Today, Crackshell and Modus Games are thrilled to announce the release of their hack-and-slash adventure, Hammerwatch II. Inviting players back to the world of the million-selling original, this sequel reintroduces players to the action that made the first game great. With five distinct character classes, new regions to explore, and more the game is aiming to provide a classic Hammerwatch experience in a whole new way. Hammerwatch II introduces players to the Kingdom of Herian. However, a dangerous foe, Blight the Horrible, and his draconic army have overthrown the king and dominated the land. Yet hope still burns. Heroes remain. Players will develop their party from five distinct classes: Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Wizard, and Warlock. Obviously, players will be able to customize their appearance, craft weaponry, armor, and more. Additionally, players can further customize their hero with skills, abilities, and other attributes. Importantly, players don’t need to face the dangers of the world alone. Players can choose to team up with three other players in multiplayer co-op.Â
