Deathbound Embarks on a Soulslike Crusade in 2024

Refused by Death

Welcome to a world destroyed by zealous faith and dark science. In this world, the clash between life and death is far from metaphorical. Civilization is collapsing, and you are left to survive amidst the horrors. Today, Tate Multimedia and Trialforge Studio are happy to announce their upcoming soulslike RPG, Deathbound, is coming to PC in 2024. Set in a techno-medieval world, players will get to engage with all of the expected combat of a soulslike. However, players can expect to see unique mechanics that may make the game feel fresh to the genre. A press release provides more details on the world of Deathbound and its gameplay. Additionally, players can check out the launch trailer for a glimpse of the game.

Deathbound

Deathbound invites players to enter the world of Ziêminal. Players become a nobody with the power to become everyone. On a crusade into the city of Akratya players will face untold horrors as they embark on their crusade. Of course, they will have their traditional weapons to deal with threats. Yet, there is more at the player’s disposal. Firstly, players are able to use the game’s unique binding system to summon other heroes in a party system that allows players to swap to other heroes during battle. For instance, even during a strike players can swap to a new hero. Importantly, this allows players to change up strategies on the fly. Additionally, players can spend a resource known as essence to get more skills.

Of course, players can get a better look at Deathbound in the new announcement trailer. Check it out below.

Deathbound is planned for release in 2024 for PC via Steam.
