Alone in the Dark Collector’s Edition Has Blood-Curdling Baubles

Statues to Cure Aloneliness!

For thirty years, Alone in the Dark has been a horror game series everyone has heard of, even if they haven’t played it. The first series of games came out between 1992 and 2001. A remake came out in 2008, followed by a heavily panned online-only game in 2015. This year, a re-remake will be coming out.

Back in May, the current owners of the property, THQ Nordic, released Grace in the Dark: Prologue. This was a demo for the full release, which will be coming out in October. This week, THQ Nordic also showed off the Collector’s Edition.

Alone in the Dark

There are only 5,000 of these, but if you have been a fan since ’92, you need to get your hands on this. Alone in the Dark Collector’s Edition comes with a copy of the game, a steelbook case, two statues/figures, a sticker set, and a door hanger.

There is a 10″ statue of The Dark Man and a 4″ miniature of Ostadte, as well as a sticker set full of images of items and characters from the game. There is also a set of DLC codes for the 1992 costume pack, Director’s Commentary Mode, and a Vintage Horror Filter pack. The door hanger is a creepy little doll with yarn tied around its neck saying “Do Not Disturb”. Too late, already disturbed.

Alone in the Dark will be coming out on October 25th for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The Collector’s Edition will cost you about $200, if you can get one.
