30XX Is Ready to Blast Its Way Onto Switch Next Month

Get Your Mind Blown in 30XX

Batterystaple Games has finally revealed the release date of their upcoming Mega-Man-style Roguelike game 30XX. It was previously scheduled to launch on 9 August. However, the developer delayed it at the last minute.

The game will now dynamically enter the Nintendo eShop on September 1st in North America, September 12th in Europe, and September 28th in Japan. We’ve had our gaze fixed on this particular one ever since the Guerrilla Collective Showcase. It managed to capture our attention with its visuals and gameplay reminiscent of Mega Man.

The blurb of the game reads as follows, “Jump, shoot, and slash your way through 30XX, the roguelike action platformer you can play with a friend! Explore lush, ever-changing worlds that mix precise platforming with fevered combat. Destroy fearsome Guardians. Master unique Powers. Rediscover the thousand years we’ve lost.”

Well, if you are still not familiar with the game, we have compiled some key features for you.

  • Characters with fully distinct playstyles – master Ace’s swift, combo-friendly Techniques and Nina’s intricate Power Fusion system for even more replayability
  • A fresh new set of levels, items, and powers every time you play – 30XX is never the same game twice!
  • The roguelike-style progression lets you tune the game’s systems and difficulty as you play, even after you win
