Later this month, current and former horse girls will rejoice with the newest addition of The Sims 4 DLC. In a couple of weeks, players will be able to open their own Horse Ranch. With it comes a whole lifestyle, reflecting a simpler time. One with horsies.
When you join the ranching community, you will be introduced to all sorts of activities. Obviously, the horses are the main gateway to those options. There are all sorts of horse-adjacent attractions, such as barrel racing, jumping, and riding. Caring for your horse is also a time consuming job unto itself.
Just like people in The Sims 4, horses have their own personality and traits. You will have to find the horse that is most compatible with your Sim to form a great bond with it. Horses require a lot of care and space, which means a near total redesign of your property.

The Horse Ranch expansion also adds other animals to adopt, to make the ranch experience more complete. There are goats and sheep to raise and look after. Each animal needs to be played with, brushed, fed, and trained. It really is the rancher life.
Horse Ranch DLC comes out on July 20th. If you buy it before August 31st, you will get three bonus items. These include a decorative wagon wheel, guitar and stand, and rocking chair. The Sims 4 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
