Ruinarch is Soon Unleashing Evil on Consoles

It’s An Evil World

Sometimes a person just wants to unleash evil onto countless procedurally generated worlds. Some stories are just meant for the bad guys. Today, Klabater is excited to announce that their evil overlord simulator, Ruinarch, is coming to Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Inviting players to take on the role of a villain in different, random, worlds, the game blends sandbox and storytelling. A press release provides more information about the concept of the game. Additionally, players can check out a new console teaser trailer for a glimpse of the game itself.

Ruinarch

Ruinarch allows players to live out their most evil dreams. Taking inspiration from games like Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress, the game places players in a procedurally generated fantasy world where they get to tell their own villainous stories. However, the goal of the story remains simple: make it a disaster. Players will be able to spread chaos throughout the land by a variety of means. For instance, spread deceit and rumors, or build an army of monsters, blackmail, abduction, and more to cause catastrophe. Importantly, players will have the opportunity to tell a different story every time they start a new game. How the world devolves into chaos is completely up to them.

Importantly, gamers can take a look at the concept of Ruinarch in the new console teaser trailer. Check out the trailer below.

Ruinarch is coming soon to Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Currently, the game is available on Steam. So, are you ready to be the bad guy?
