A Thriving Town
Building a town isn’t necessarily the easiest. However, ensuring that the love lives of its citizens are going well may be the hardest challenge of all. Today, Ishtar Games is happy to announce the release of their social-based management sim, Lakeburg Legacies, to Steam. The game tasks players with ensuring a town thrives from humble beginnings while also managing the needs of its people. A press release gives more information on exactly what players will be doing. Additionally, a launch trailer gives players a look at the gameplay and graphics of the game.Â
Lakeburg Legacies allows players to develop a town from a tiny settlement into a thriving kingdom. Of course, that isn’t everything that players will be responsible for. Additionally, players will be responsible for the production of the town, its resources, expansion, and perhaps most importantly, ensuring that its citizens find love. Importantly, pairing soulmates together, regardless of gender, goes on to ensure that more and more children with good traits will be born to help the town. These children themselves will grow and continue the legacy. However, it isn’t so straightforward. Chaotic randomized events will often cause problems for the people of the kingdom. It is up to the player to ensure that the people and their love lives can navigate these events properly.Â
