Scorn Will Officially Release On PlayStation 5 Sometime This Fall

Kepler Interactive and Ebb Software have announced that their atmospheric horror game, Scorn, will officially release on PlayStation 5 this fall. The game released to immense hype and fanfare in October 2022 on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass and PC via Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store. Furthermore, besides the PlayStation 5 announcement, the companies confirmed that the game has surpassed than two million players since launch.

In the PlayStation 5 version, players can purchase an exclusive physical edition of the game distributed by Maximum Games. The physical edition includes the full game, a limited edition SteelBook case, the original soundtrack, and a digital art book. Additionally, players will enjoy a reveal trailer accompanying the announcement. In the trailer, viewers get a look at some of the tense moments in the game as they navigate through eerie surroundings.

The game is described as follows, “Scorn drops its players into a nightmarish, dream-like world unlike any they’ve encountered before. With grotesque visuals inspired by the works of H.R. Giger, the goal in Scorn is to guide an unfortunate creature through a biomechanical labyrinth world on a journey of self-discovery. However, the ruins of whatever civilization existed there before, as well as the foul abominations calling the ruined halls their home, stand in its way.” Additionally, players must solve puzzles and interact with strange denizens in a world filled with machines, striking visuals and a truly unique world.
