PixelJunk Scrappers Deluxe Set To Release In Late July
Developer Q-Games has announced that its upcoming title, PixelJunk Scrappers Deluxe, will release on multiple platforms on July 27th. Interested fans can expect the cooperative party brawler to hit the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on that date. Moreover, the game will cost $24.99 / £19.99 / 2,500 yen. Interested fans that pre-order the game via the Nintendo eShop for the Switch will enjoy a 20% discount while the game is available to wish-list on PC and PlayStation storefronts.
Q-Games has described the game as follows, “The game’s launch next month celebrates the 15th anniversary of the franchise and adds a new genre mix to the award-winning list of titles. With multiple playable characters to master, a wide variety of weapons to unlock and a mission to salvage Junktown from hordes of enemy trashbots, this beat ‘em up really packs a punch!” Also, this franchise is the longest running in the developer’s history.
Additionally, players will enjoy fast-paced gameplay along with the perfect co-op experience where they can throw down with friends. The game features full cross-platform play, so players across PlayStation, PC and the Nintendo Switch can fight and play together. Furthermore, players will have the opportunity to collect several items for their garbage truck to customize it while recruiting a variety of Scrappers to the team.
