Annihilation Instinct
There is some exciting news for Atomic Heart fans. The first DLC called Annihilation Instinct will be coming this Summer. This will add a whole new area, story, and abilities. There was also a significant update that went live yesterday, which adds New Game Plus.
If you haven’t played the game and don’t want the ending spoiled, read no further. The base game has two endings. In one ending, your character leaves Facility 3826 and in the other, he takes down the bad guy and supposedly dies. Whatever choice you made, P-3 must return to Facility 3826 for the new adventure.
The new Atomic Heart DLC will take place in the Mendeleev Complex and the surrounding swamp areas. It will also introduce the Techno-Stasis ability, which allows players to mess with time. The gameplay trailer shows it in action, slowing down groups of enemies.

With New Game Plus, players can experience a brand new difficulty. Enemies will be stronger and have fewer weaknesses. Their auras will have different colors, they will have more resistances, and their attacks have new effects. This update is free for players.
Atomic Heart is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The Annihilation Instinct DLC will launch on August 2nd.
