Tekken 8 Latest Trailer Shows Off Hwoarang Gameplay

Tekken is a major fighting game franchise alongside the likes of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Earlier this year, Bandai Namco announced that it would be releasing Tekken 8 in the future. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, however the company is yet to confirm a release date. Today, the company has unveiled a major character in the game, Hwoarang, along with a gameplay trailer showing him off in action.

Hwoarang is martial artist who made consistent appearances throughout the franchise. From his gameplay trailer, viewers get a first look at the character’s outfit, design and some of his skills. Furthermore, they can see the character jumping off his motorcycle before combat. Hwoarang is a main rival of Jin Kazama and a student of the Baek Doo San.

Moreover, Bandai Namco promises even more content and fun in Tekken 8. Thus far, the company has shown off characters such as Jin Kazama, Leroy Smith and Jack-8. In this edition, players will enjoy an experience built on the Unreal Engine 5 as the developers push the technology and hardware to its limits. Moreover, the new entry will focus on a rivalry and showdown between Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama, who share a father-son relationship. With new rivalries, characters, skills and abilities, as well as graphical improvements, Tekken 8 promises to be a fantastic entry in the long-standing franchise.
