It’s time to face the darkness. Assemble your heroes, and embark into madness. The Early Access has ended, and the evil has arrived. Today, Red Hook Studios is excited to announce the launch of their turn-based RPG roguelike, Darkest Dungeon II. Building off of the fundamentals of the first game while providing a whole new experience, Darkest Dungeon II is bringing fan-favorite characters and RPG action with Lovecraftian horror. Darkest Dungeon II invites players back into the Lovecraftian madness that only a trip of the damned could provide. The game combines RPG and roguelike elements with a party-based system that offers multiple ways to play. Additionally, players can look forward to a whole host of new upgrades to the game. For instance,  3D animation, new gameplay mechanics, and systems, and more. 

The full launch of the game includes five campaigns including individual bosses. Furthermore, players can look forward to a roster of 12 familiar heroes, all except the bounty hunter, with their own interactive story chapters.
