Immortals of Aveum, Magic Shooter, Spellcasting in July

Today, EA Originals and new studio Ascendant Studios are happy to unveil their upcoming single-player magic shooter, Immortals of Aveum. Launching on July 20th, 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, is combining a modern story driven game with interesting new mechanics that defy the conventions of a regular FPS game. Immortals of Aveum introduces players to Jak. Known to the society of the world as an Unforseen, Jak is a person who manifests magical powers later in life. Yet, with his newfound potential the, once poor and destitute, man is now a member of the Order of Immortals. Now, Jak is being swept up in the EverWar, a constant conflict over the control of magic. 

Players will join this order of battlemages and learn to harness the differing schools of magic. Using red, blue, and green magic schools combining them into devastating combo attacks to destroy legions of soldiers. Of course, the whole story is a cinematic and visceral experience that invites players to immerse themselves in this new world.
