Amplitude Studios Delays Endless Dungeon To Reach Full Potential

Amplitude Studios, an indie developer, has been working on its upcoming title, Endless Dungeon for some time. The company, along with SEGA, planned to release the game on May 18th. However, today, the companies have announced that the game’s release will be delayed until October 19th. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Nintendo Switch version is set to release at a later date. Additionally, players that pre-order the game will be granted two days early access on October 17th.

Romaine De Waubert, Amplitude Studios General Manager, commented on the game thus far. He stated, “The feedback we’ve received across our OpenDev sessions so far has proved to us that we truly have something special on our hands and we want to ensure we have time for the game to reach its full potential. Players have always been at the heart of our studio’s philosophy and releasing Endless Dungeon in October will allow us the extra time to keep working with the community and polishing the game for an amazing day one experience”

Therefore, Amplitude Studios intends to use the additional time to improve the game based on feedback including meta-progression, balancing, onboarding and general quality of life improvements. In Endless Dungeon, players jump into a tactical action, tower defense and roguelite game. It is a unique indie title with a ton of potential.
