The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Tears Its Way To Release In August

Gun Interactive is a video game publisher that was founded in 2010. Since then, it has worked on and released multiple titles such as Friday The 13th: The Game, Layers of Fear 2 and Breach & Clear. Based on the history of horror and survival titles, the team, along with developer Sumo Nottingham, is preparing to release The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The game will release on August 18th, 2023. Furthermore, it will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Furthermore, the company will be conducting a technical test on May 25th.

In the release date trailer, viewers get an in-depth look at the game’s graphics, gameplay and eeriness. The game looks similar to previous horror and survival games such as Dead By Daylight, as players must come together to survive the threat. Moreover, it is described as follows, “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an asymmetrical horror experience based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 horror film.”

Furthermore, Gun Interactive puts the player in control of some of the most notorious killers in horror movie history. Additionally, the developers have introduced melodies and sounds in the game which redesign the iconic sounds of the 1974 film. The score is unique, chilling and sure to make players feel worried that an enemy is near. Also, the entire zone of Texas was recreated beyond mere characters and locations.
