The Lord of the Ring: Gollum Trailer Shows The Search For His Precious
Daedalic Entertainment is a video game developer that previously worked on Hidden Deep, Cryofall and Crazy Machines 3. The company has partnered with Nacon to release Lord of the Rings: Gollum. The game will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S sometime in 2023. Furthermore, there is a Nintendo Switch release planned. Today, the companies have released a story trailer for the game showing off the protagonist on his search for Precious.
The trailer is described as follows, “Discover Daedalic’s untold story through a trailer featuring Gollum’s extraordinary adventure in search of his Precious. This original story will take you to several places through Middle-earth where you’ll meet well-known characters from the books of J.R.R. Tolkien.” It is an action-stealth game where players take the role of Gollum, one of the most famous characters from the beloved movie series. Gollum is a fascinating character with a split personality. He can be vicious and wicked yet, players may enjoy his brighter side, as the friendly and cautious Smeagol.
Furthermore, players will enjoy an adventure through Middle Earth, filled with elves, dark towers and more.
Moreover, the game was originally set to release on September 1st, 2023. However, in July, 2022, the companies announced that it would be delaying the game’s release in order to deliver the best experience possible. Thus far, the companies have not confirmed an official release date for the game.
