It’s time to enter the world of Ávalt. A fantasy world of folklore creatures, ancient and powerful gods, and a growing darkness. Today, Systematic Reaction is happy to announce the release of their open-world action, roguelite, Ravenbound. Interestingly, the game combines elements of RPGs, roguelike games, and deck builders to craft a unique gameplay experience. A press release gives players interested some more details. Ravenbound invites players to join a world based on Scandinavian folklore. Stepping into the shoes of a being known as The Vessel, players wield the power of a weapon known as the Raven. A device created by the ancient gods, the Raven serves as a weapon to eliminate the darkness creeping into the world. Of course, the game is a roguelite. You will not be able to achieve victory in one try. The point is that failure will return you to the world with new insights and greater powers, as well as, abilities. Additionally, each death and exploring the vast world before you will give you access to new upgrade cards. These cards, will provide you with new weapons and abilities.
