Today Daedalic Entertainment and developer Vixa Games are happy to announce their upcoming horror adventure, Edge of Sanity. Releasing later this year, the game aims to combine an intense atmosphere and interesting art style to bring Lovecraftian horror to life. A press release provides more info on the game. Edge of Sanity places players into the Alaskan wilderness where they will face the unexplainable. Interestingly, players will embark on numerous expeditions that will pit them against the nightmarish. Importantly, the game mixes adventure with survival. During the day, players can venture out into the wild, collecting resources, scrounging food, solving mysteries. Yet, at night, players must be ready to fight for their lives against horrific Lovecraftian monstrosities. Of course, players must manage their base, survive, and more all while they try to maintain their sanity. Additionally, players will foray into underground laboratories to find out why scientists have gone missing.Â
