Don’t Cry Over Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition

Spilled Lon Lon Milk

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is arguably going to be one of the biggest games of 2023. Breath of the Wild was game of the year in 2017 for many video game news and media outlets, so this one has some big boots to fill.

After last week’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo released details of Tears of the Kingdom’s launch. It will be coming out on May 12th and it will have a Collector’s Edition. Check out the contents below.

Tears of the Kingdom

The Collector’s Edition will come with a physical copy of the game, a steelbook case, an art book, a set of pins, and a poster with the artwork. The dimensions of the poster and art book have not been disclosed, nor how many pages the book will have. Everything will be packaged in a collector’s box.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition is priced at $130. Fans have noticed that Breath of the Wild’s Collector’s Edition was also priced at $130, but contained significantly more. It contained a Master Sword statue, a Nintendo Switch carrying case, and a physical soundtrack.

Another bummer is that fans who want this will have to seek out the retailers on their own. It appears that this product will not be sold directly from Nintendo.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be coming out on May 12th, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
