Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition Announced For Multiple Platforms
Devolver Digital along with Flying Wild Hog released Shadow Warrior 3 in early 2022. Today, the company have officially announced Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition. This edition will launch as a free upgrade for owners of the game on February 16th, 2023. It will be available on multiple platforms such as PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Players will receive a bunch of benefits through the definitive edition of the game.
Players that run the game on next-gen consoles will be treated to great enhancements such as PlayStation 5 haptics, controller speaker support and re-tuned performance modes. Furthermore, on next-gen consoles, the developers offer a buttery smooth experience. Moreover, players, after completing the campaign, can enjoy the Survival Mode where they hop into three battle arenas. Also, the developers have introduced other content into the game such as the Hero mode and ‘hardcore’ difficulty mode.
Additionally, there are a ton of upgrades and unlocks for players to enjoy such as new challenges, rewards and skins, to give the character and confidence boost needed to survive. In the short announcement trailer, viewers get a great look at the game’s fast-paced action, combat and graphics. Also, viewers are afforded a first look at some of the game modes that will be introduced in the free upgrade. In Shadow Warrior 3, Lo Wang must journey to uncharted territory as he tracks down the dark beast and fight the impending cataclysm.
