Sci-Fi Shooter LEAP Officially Launches Into Full Release In MarchÂ
Blue Isle Studios and Publishing previously worked on games such as Citadel: Forged With Fire, Valley and Slender: The Arrival. Today, the companies have announced that its upcoming sci-shooter, LEAP, will release into Version 1.0 on March 1st, 2023. The game spent some time in early access as the developers continued to improve the game based on feedback. It will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
Although the game is ready for launch, the developers plan to unveil a roadmap and new features. Furthermore, players can choose to purchase the game’s Founder’s Edition before its official release for rewards such as the JoJo Skin and in-game loot and perks. Additionally, the developers have confirmed that cross-play is available upon launch as well as a day one mod system. From its release, the team stated, “Now is the time to let your creative side out, try your hand at modding and create your own FPS experience or check out some of our creators’ mods! More details on mod support coming soon.”

Early Access is a great tool that can be used by proactive developers to gather feedback prior to a game’s launch. Some titles have abused the system by failing to improve or release a final product, but games such as LEAP are utilizing it for its proper purpose!
