A Haunting World of Mist
The mist holds many secrets. Yet, it also hides many horrors. Prepare to venture into the fog and discover the mysteries within. Today, Onyx Wings is happy to announce the release of their supernatural, mystery-platformer, Mistcaller. Combining elements of platformers, mystery, puzzle, and RPG games, Mistcaller is offering players a unique 2D adventure. A press release provides more details on the game. Mistcaller introduces players to Eve. She is an amnesiac girl who wakes up in a world covered in mist. However, it doesn’t seem like she’s completely alone. Though there are no answers in sight, a hunger for the truth and a disembodied voice drive her onwards into the mist. Of course, players will navigate the mist in classic platformer style, dodging hazards and solving puzzles. Furthermore, the more players explore the more secrets they will uncover, including some darkness that Eve’s own family left behind for her.
Players will explore a beautifully hand-drawn 2D environment as they embark on this quest. Importantly, as players explore they will gain access to a skill tree of new abilities and powers to help control the mist. Of course, players can check out the trailer from last month below.
