Fall of Porcupine

Fall of the Porcupine introduces players to Finley, a freshly graduated med school student preparing for his first residency. However, his first residency is taking place in a pretty small town. It seems like a nice enough place. Or at least it does at first. In fact, things soon become far more than Finley expects. Focusing on the effects unhealthy medical practices can have on healthcare workers, the game introduces players into a far less appealing medical world.

Importantly the game is based on the premise 20 interviews the development team conducted with healthcare professionals. Originally being given free to 1000 healthcare workers from the U.S, UK, and Canada, the game will now be available to all healthcare workers from those nations. Currently a free demo, “The Last Days of Summer” has over 100,000 downloads on Steam.

Fall of Porcupine is releasing in 2023. It will be available on SteamNintendo SwitchPlaystation 4/5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. So, do you have a gamer healthcare professional in your life? Why not let them know about a game for them?
