The Tale of Onogoro Journeys to PSVR Today

It’s time for PSVR players to step into a unique and fascinating new world. Are you looking for Japanese folklore? How about a steampunk setting? You’re in luck. Today, Amata K.K. is happy to announce the release of their action-adventure VR game, The Tale of Onogoro, on the PSVR. Introducing players to a world of puzzles and combat, the game aims to give players a unique VR experience. A press release provides more details on the PSVR version of the game. A Quest Launch trailer from earlier this year gives players a look at the game. 

The Tale of Onogoro invites players to a magical world and its fate is in your hands. Ushered into a new world by a maiden of the shrine named Haru, players will take up the Celestial Weapons and defend this secret world. Travelling around the island of Onogoro players will face off against various giant monsters, known as Kari, in intense battles. Additionally, players will help Haru solve puzzles that range from simple to sprawling puzzles of vary difficulty. Of course, as you work your way across the island your bond with Haru and others across the island deepens and more of the story will become revealed to you. 

Importantly, players can check out the release trailer from earlier this year for the Quest. The trailer gives players a look at the art style and gameplay. Check it out below. 

The Tale of Onogoro is out now for the PSVR. Currently the game is also available in the The Tale of Onogoro + Last Labyrinth VR Adventure Pack. The pack is available now for $54.99 on the PlayStation Store. So, are you ready to experience Onogoro Island?
