The Last Spell introduces players to a world overrun by monsters. The goal is to defend the last bastion of humanity, Haven, long enough to cast one crucial, world saving, spell. Of course, this is easier said than done. Players will face off against waves of monsters in tactical turn based battles. Importantly, the game combines these strategy elements, with RPG like skill progression, roguelike procedural generation and replayability. The combat of the game will pit players against massive enemy armies where every choice can be the difference between victory, and being over-taken.Â
Of course players can get a glimpse of the art style and gameplay in the new announcement trailer. Furthermore, the trailer also shows off the interesting base development aspect of the gameplay. Check it out below.Â
