Raisor Cosplay Feature
Welcome back, cosplay fans! It’s time for the weekly COGconnected cosplay feature. This week, we’re taking a look at the work of an exceptionally dedicated cosplayer, Raisor Cosplay. Based out of Vancouver, B.C., this cosplayer has an interesting approach to bringing video game characters to life. Many cosplayers dress up as various characters from many different properties. He seems to prefer dressing up as a handful of characters with a multitude of backdrops, poses, and costumes. He’s gathered an extensive collection of alternate outfits for his photoshoots. And he also appears to enjoy adding dramatic staging, props, and special effects.
Raisor Cosplay is a self-identified Chrom main, so it might not be a surprise that he’s done a lot of shoots as Chrom. In fact, most of his costume library seems inspired by Fire Emblem. It takes a lot of skill to make these medieval fantasy designs look good in 3D. Fortunately, he’s more than up to the task.
