Octopath Traveler II Latest Trailer Unveils New Protagonists And More

Acquire is a video game development company that has worked on titles such as Way of the Samurai and Tenchu. The company has once again partnered with Square Enix to release Octopath Traveler II, a sequel to the first game which released some time ago. The game will release on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 24th, 2023. The companies have released a trailer showing off two protagonists and more as the game’s release draws close.

Throne The Thief and Temenos The Cleric are two of the game’s protagonists that players will interact with. Furthermore, viewers will get a first look at the game’s updated job system which gives players much more freedom this time around as well as a guild system that appears throughout the land. The developers have introduced more features into the sequel for a more enjoyable experience.

In Solistia, a land filled with busy sea routes and new technologies, players will meet areas torn by war and poverty as well as those filled with glamour and luxury. Eight travelers must set forth on a journey to explore the lands as they see fit and assist those in need. Moreover, the game offers a unique storyline, path actions and improved mechanics, skills and abilities from its predecessor. The game offers a ton of possibilities for its players in the land of Solistia.
