You’re Saying it Wrong. It’s April 4th, Not February 10th.
Whatever your opinion or stance on Hogwarts Legacy, it is shaping up to being one of the biggest games of 2023. Avalanche Software recently released an FAQ, or at least a revised one, regarding their game. Depending on which platform you plan to play it on, this could affect you.
We all know that Hogwarts Legacy is coming out on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, but it will not be coming out all at once. If you are playing on PC, Xbox Series X|S, or PS5, you don’t have to worry. Those platforms will support the game on February 10th.
According to the FAQ, the release date for Xbox One and PS4 will be April 4th. If you bought the Collector’s Edition for either of these two consoles, it will also be released on April 4th. The Deluxe Edition grants players a 72-hour early access, but that will not apply to the PS4/Xbox One versions. The early access period begins on February 7th for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
We understand there could be questions around the impacts of this delay for PS4 and Xbox One. For more information please visit: https://t.co/ubtpwOn0JG

The Nintendo Switch version also has its released date at last. Switch players will have to wait until July 25th to play Hogwarts Legacy. There is no word on if there will be an early access period on Nintendo Switch, but at that point, we really can’t call it early access anyway.
Hogwarts Legacy will be coming out on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 10th, 2023.
