Company of Heroes 3 Takes Strategy To The PlayStation 5 In 2023

At The Game Awards 2022, Sega and Relic Entertainment made a major announcement for its upcoming title. Company of Heroes 3 will officially release on PlayStation 5 sometime in 2023. It will also release on PC next year on February 23rd, 2023. Earlier this year, the companies behind the game announced that its release would be delayed into 2023 to allow for further development.

In its minute-long announcement trailer, the team opted to give fans a live-action short film as soldiers run into the battlefield in war. The trailer shows soldiers going from calm to intense scenarios along with tanks and some explosions. Moreover, in the game, players will lead troops on the shoes of the Italian Dynamic Campaign map or head to war along the battlefields of North Africa. Furthermore, players can enjoy four factions at launch and can indulge in online play to compete against others.

Also, the developers have made the game fit perfectly for consoles by introducing features such as controller support, custom UI and much more.

Additionally, fans were excited for the announcement as strategy games rarely release on console, and Company of Heroes is a major franchise. Fans are hopeful that it may lead to a trend of more RTS games coming to consoles and a revival of the genre across the board, as there hasn’t been major releases in some time.
