Twin-Stick Shooter Blackout Protocol Has Been Officially Unveiled
Ocean Drive Studio is an independent video game studio dedicated to making games for their fans. Previously, the small team has worked on Lost Eidolons, a turn-based strategy RPG that is set for release on October 13th on Steam. Ocean Drive Studio has now unveiled another upcoming title, Blackout Protocol. The game is set to release into early access on PC via Steam in 2023. Jae Kim, Ocean Drive Studio’s CEO, stated, “I am thrilled to announce the studio’s second project… The game being co-op at heart, we believe integrating player’s feedback from the early stage is essential and we will be launching the game in early access so we can receive as much feedback as possible to offer the best gaming experience.” It is clear that the developers are planning to use Early Access to test and improve the game before release!
In the game, players, as employees of the S2P Corporation, must arm themselves and explore the depths of the underground research base. Moreover, players must use communication to fight their way to victory in a team of three while managing the Panic Gauge.
In the reveal trailer, viewers get a first look at some of the monsters they will fight as well as the game’s eerie, dark setting. Additionally, fans get some insight into its gameplay as Blackout Protocol offers fast-paced, action packed combat and more.
