An Effort To Ensure QualityÂ
Patience is a virtue and gamers may need some more. Today Achimostawinan Games announced that it will be pushing back the release date of their Indigenous Detective game, Hill Agency: PURITYdecay. A press release provides info about the game. Additionally, the release gives Achimostawinan Games’ reasoning for the push. Furthermore, players can get a look at the game from the official announcement trailer from last month.Â
Hill Agency: PURITYdecay is an exploration heavy, noir detective game. Importantly, the game introduces players to a unique take on Indigenous Futurism. Players take on the role of Meeygen Hill, a tough P.I, working in the slums of one of the last major cities in North America. However, everything changes when a woman barges into your office. Her sister has been murdered and the police are useless. Players must follow their instincts, and use real detective work to uncover clues, this game won’t give you the answers. No matter how you handle the case, the game keeps going.Â
However, players will need to hang on a little longer to play. The press release states that, “In a conscious effort not to compromise the game experience by rushing to a deadline, and with the clear objective of avoiding any form of crunch time, to ensure the team can continue to work in a safe and healthy manner, the decision was made to push the release date for Hill Agency: PURITYdecay.”Â
Of course, the additional time will ensure the game is ready for release. Achimostawinan Games thanks their player base for their patience.Â
Hill Agency: PURITYdecay is currently in development. It is releasing for PC, via Steam. More information is available at Achimostawinan Games website. So, are you excited to solve some mysteries?Â
