A Light In The Dark Heads To PlayStation And Switch Later This Year
Sekai Project is an American video game publisher that works on Japanese inspired games. The company works with various indie developers and has released titles in the past such as Rewrite, Island Diary and more. Sekai Project has now partnered with Storia and Narrator and Crespirit to release A Light in the Dark, a visual novel. The game will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch sometime this fall. Furthermore, the game previously released on PC via Steam in 2018. In the game, players will be thrown into a visual novel filled with emotions, pain and more. Players as Hao-Chen must examine various items in the area as he makes attempts and plans to escape his kidnappers. Furthermore, players must bear in mind the effect of their actions on stamina. Additionally, the developers have introduced multiple endings into the game as well as localizations in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
Hao-Chen Jiang is thrown into a worrying situation as he wakes up to being kidnapped. Shortly after, players will be told that a ransom is required for his safe return. However, players will soon learn that more may be at stake than mere money, as prejudice and more plays a role.
In the game’s announcement trailer for consoles, the developer showed off some dialogue and gave some insight into the game’s storyline.
