Today developer Audvyr Studio and publisher 1C Entertainment unveiled the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming thriller adventure, The Fold: Ingression. A press release provides more info about the game. Of course, the gameplay trailer also gives players their first glimpse of the uncanniness that awaits them in The Fold. Furthermore the release gives players some insight from Stian Willums the Creative Director of Audvyr Studio.Â
The Fold: Ingression places players in the shoes of young Norwegian, Amund Vreim, starting his job as a temp exterminator. As Amund players will be on assignment for the Eikherad stave church in Telemark, Norway. However, players will soon discover that this is no easy assignment. Day after day more areas are available to explore, and things become more and more strange. Eventually, players will find themselves in a mystical, and dark world. Of course, an evil lurks just inside this world. Will you be able to keep your sanity long enough to save the world?
“The Fold: Ingression’ now finally feels like a fleshed-out world. Of course, there is still a lot of work ahead, but I believe I’ve managed to incorporate Scandinavian history and dark legends, which always fascinated me, into the game in a unique way.” Says Stian Willums the Creative Director of Audvyr Studio.Â
