Roller Champions Will Officially Release On Multiple Platforms In Late May
Ubisoft is one of the biggest video game publishers in the industry. Some of the games in its portfolio include Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and Rainbow Six: Siege. Today, the company has announced that Roller Champions will launch on 25th May, 2022 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox One. Furthermore, fans can look forward to a release on the Nintendo Switch, Stadia and Amazon Luna at a later date. The game is free to play.
In the game, players will compete in teams of two or three to be the first to reach five points. However, the twists and turns come as players are rewarded more points for making more laps and maintaining possession. To attain victory, players can speed along the walls, tackle their opponents and work with their teammates with unique tactics.
Competitive players can climb the leaderboards to unlock new stadiums and leagues, including the Elite Champions’ League. By competing in the leagues, players will be rewarded with cosmetic items, discover new maps, compete in limited game modes and customize their Champion.
Furthermore, the game features cross-play matchmaking system which allows players to compete against players on other platforms or with their friends. Ubisoft has also implemented cross-progression mechanics and players can use the Skatepark as the main hub to interact with others.
Although Roller Champions suffered many delays, Ubisoft has poured time into it and it seems to have paid off. Moreover, cross-play makes games much more accessible!
