Gear Up For Mobile Combat
Have you ever dreamed of having an intense game that you can play on your mobile device? No, not another city builder, a real-time high intensity game. You’re in luck. Today Super Evil Megacorp is happy to announce the release date for their mobile battleground shooter, Catalyst Black, releasing on May 25th. A press release provides details about the game and how it’s design keeps the mobile platform in mind.
Catalyst Black places players high in the skies on the floating Welkin Islands. Here they will battle for rich caches of power scattered across the Islands. Players will take on one of many roles that can be customized to fit their playstyle. For instance, long range snipers, dueling assassins, or ferocious protectors are all at players disposal. Additionally, the game provides players with over 30 weapons, 12 abilities, 15 trinkets, and 6 primals. Furthermore, players can use these combinations across various game modes. Like Hydra, where players not only fight each other but monster bosses that also spawn in a PvEvP experience. Or maybe you’d prefer Slayer where you simply battle other players.
Catalyst Black runs with Super Evil’s philosophy of accessibility in mind. Kristian Segerstrale, CEO of Super Evil Megacorp, highlights these ideas in the press release. He explains that, “Catalyst Black takes mobile-first games to a new level both by offering input flexibility and through its accessible yet deep, action-packed gameplay…skilled combat, deep loadout customization and choice, and joyful moments powered by our primals.”
Players can get a glimpse of the gameplay Segerstrale refers to in the release date trailer.
Catalyst Black launches on May 25th, 2022. It will be available on Android and IOS devices. More information is available on Catalyst Black’s website. So, are you ready to battle for power in the skies?
