Sandbox Ocean Builder Sea of Craft Enters Early Access In Late April

Wizard Games has announced that its upcoming indie title, Sea of Craft, will enter Early Access on Steam on April 29th. The game, described as an ocean-builder with endless opportunities, will utilize early access as a means to improve the game prior to its official release. Interested fans can wishlist the game on Steam here.

In the game, players will command a ship on the high seas. Players will be able to build exclusive ship with tons of material, claim champion and challenge other sailors, pirates and monsters. The sandbox element of the game allows players to enjoy various aspects of the game. Additionally, interested builders will be able to share their creations via the Online Workshop.

Some of the choices players can make include joining a multiplayer free-for-all, hunting and chasing others or learning sailing and building techniques. If players do this, they are able to build several ships and have a unique appearance. Furthermore, the developers have ensured that the game is realistic. Sea of Craft features lovely sound effects, a realistic sailing experience and remnants of various lost civilizations. Players have a ton of areas to explore along the journey.

Video gamers have had mixed opinions on early access titles since it became popular. In the past, developers used early access as a way to make money without completing the game, resulting in scams and mistrust. However, recently, developers have been using it to improve the game before final release.
