You Can Now Pre-order Rune Factory 5 on the Nintendo Switch
Pre-orders for Rune Factory 5 are now live on the Nintendo Switch. If you decide you want to get in on this, XSEED is offering some bonus DLC to make the deal more appealing.
Rune Factory is a storied franchise that serves as a relaxing farming/life sim with some combat thrown in for good measure. Think of a 3D Stardew Valley to get a good idea of the type of gameplay you can expect. These games are always rather entertaining, and I’m eager to see how the latest entry performs.
All digital pre-orders will include “The Holy Knight and the Bibliophile Swimsuit Set + New Ranger Care Package Item Pack.” These DLC will also be available at launch for $1.99 each.
The “The Holy Knight and the Bibliophile Swimsuit Set + New Ranger Care Package Item Pack” includes:
- Includes swimsuits for the playable characters inspired by Forte and Kiel from
Rune Factory 4 - Care Package contains nine each of the following items: Orange Juice, Cooking Bread, Tomato Seed, Healing Potion
Is it really a Japanese game if it doesn’t include some swimsuit DLC? I’m pretty sure it is a legal requirement these days. Nothing major, but not a bad package if you already want to pick up the game.
The Rune Factory 5 Pre-order bonus isn’t anything special, but that’s probably for the best. You don’t want players feeling like they are missing significant content just because they didn’t buy a game before it even launched.
