CrossfireX’s Latest Trailer Teases Multiplayer Weapons And Maps
Crossfire is a legendary PC franchise that was first released in South Korea in 2007. Since its initial release, the game took the world by storm as a tactical first-person shooter. It can be compared to the likes of Counter Strike in its style. In 2021, Remedy Entertainment along with Smilegate and Xbox Game Studio announced that CrossfireX would be releasing on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S. The game is set to be released on February 10th, 2022. In its latest trailer, the developers have shown off CrossfireX’s weapons and maps in multiplayer.
The minute-long trailer is intense. It shows off the weapons including the iconic AK-47 and M16 along with map layouts and routes. The graphics showcase that the maps are vibrant and filled with both life and color. The trailer then concludes by showing off some fast-paced combat and more.
In CrossfireX, players will don the outfit of either the Global Risk or Black List mercenary groups. Then, they must drop into combat zones in a variety of classic and innovative game modes to showcase their skills. CrossfireX will feature a unique, enticing story that is told from both sides of the conflict.
CrossfireX has been optimized for the Xbox Series X/S. The game’s development kit takes advantage of the console’s capabilities. The benefits include unparalleled load times, visuals, responsiveness and framerates up to 120FPS. Furthermore, unfortunately, CrossfireX will not feature cross-play capabilities but the game will release with the campaign and multiplayer modes available on February 10th.
