Turn-Based RPG Sea of Stars Will Be Launching On The Nintendo Switch
The world of indie gaming has grown exponentially over the past few years. Today, Nintendo hosted the Nintendo Indie World, where developers are given a chance to showcase their games. Sabotage, an indie studio behind The Messenger, has announced that Sea of Stars will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch. Sea of Stars is Sabotage’s highly anticipated turn-based RPG title. To celebrate the announcement, the developers have also released a trailer showcasing the gameplay and more.
The developers have also confirmed that the content shown in the trailer was pulled from the Nintendo Switch and that they are working with Kakehashi Games. Kakehashi Games will be responsible for localization of Sea of Stars into Japanese and Korean.
It will be set in the same world as The Messenger. In Sea of Stars, players take on the roles of Valere and Zale, two youths who are destined to become Solstice Warriors. These youths must use their powers to fight against an evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer. Sea of Stars will maintain a theme of friendship, adventure and twists and turns along the game’s story.
Furthermore, the game offers players a ton of features. In the game, players will enjoy engaging and immersive turn-based combat based upon animations and timing. Additionally, the game’s light will change over time and the developers have made the game in such a way as to avoid a grind.
The developers will also introduce a smooth navigation system allowing players to swim, travel, climb, vault and jump as they traverse the world freely.
