Call of Duty Vanguard Free Weekend Lets Players Get Into Festive Spirit

Call of Duty: Vanguard was officially released on 10th September 2021. The latest iteration in the historical franchise released on the PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The title took players back to the hectic, troublesome days of World War II. Activision has hailed the title as the best World War II experience available. As the holiday season approaches, the developers are willing to give fans a little treat.

The company has announced that from 10 AM Pacific Time tomorrow, 16th December 2021, until December 21st, Call of Duty Vanguard will be available for free.

The limited-time access offers players three playlists. Two of the fresh playlists are holiday-themed and will get players into the holiday spirit. Other benefits of the free weekend include Maximum Double XP bonuses, tier skips, an XP boost, and Warzone weapons upon purchase of the full game.

In particular, Shipmas 24/7 will look like a similar map, but have a Christmas feel to it.

Additionally, any gamers that purchase the game prior to December 31st will receive a sleigh full of gifts including 24 Vanguard Tiers for the Battle Pass, 10 Tier Skips and 10% global weapon, player, and battle pass XP.

Furthermore, for fans of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific, the game’s anti-cheat initiative, Ricochet, has officially launched. The developers have confirmed that the anti-cheat system will launch on Call of Duty: Vanguard at a later date. What do you think about the anti-cheat?
