Strategy RPG Relayer Will Release In March On PlayStation Platforms
Clouded Leopard Entertainment have confirmed today that its Mecha Strategy RPG Relayer will release on March 24th, 2022 worldwide. The game will release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Furthermore, Japanese publisher Kadokawa Games has announced that the Japanese release will be delayed from February 17th to March 24th. The delay will allow for this version to be released alongside the worldwide version. The publisher apologized to Japanese fans of the game for the delay.
Relayer will be priced at $69.99 for the digital standard edition and $74.99 for the digital premium edition. Both versions of the game will support English and Japanese audio as well as subtitles in various languages including English, Korean and Chinese. Additionally, French, Italian, German and Spanish subtitles are expected to be added in a future update. Pre-orders start on 25th January, 2022.
The digital premium editions contain the full game, season pass, dynamic theme and the original soundtrack.
Relayer is a mecha strategy RPG where star-children or humans with special gifts take on an alien threat. Relayer’s system focuses on combat types, jobs and roles. The maps are fully illustrated in 3D and there are over 100 unique cutscenes for players to enjoy.
Players will command a squadron of soldiers who must do all they can to stop the invasion of Relayers. Relayers are intent on invading earth for their own reasons.
It is important to note that players can upgrade their PlayStation 4 version to the PlayStation 5 free of charge. Moreover, save data and trophies will be transferred as well.
