JRPG Edge of Eternity Will Officially Release On Consoles In February 2022
Midgar Studio along with publisher Dear Villagers released its JRPG Edge of Eternity on PC in June. Midgar Studio was founded in 2008 in France and has a focus on console and PC titles. Dear Villagers is a video game publisher. The publisher has worked on various titles including The Forgotten City and Scourgebringer. The partners have announced that the game will launch on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on February 10th, 2022. Furthermore, the game’s cloud version will be launching on the Nintendo Switch. The cloud version will be available on February 23rd, 2022.
Founder of Midgar Studio, Jeremy Zeler, was proud of the studio’s work on the title. He stated, “Bringing this JRPG world to life has been a tremendous labor of love…I look forward to delivering this experience to the console players who have been so patient with our team. I think it’ll be worth the wait!”
The world of Heryon has been torn apart and there’s a mysterious enemy emerging. Players must follow the journeys of Daryon and Selene who are on a quest to save Heryon. To do so, Daryon and Selene must find a cure to the all-consuming corrosion.
The game offers a ton of other features including a soundtrack from the composer of Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles as well as an expansive world to discover. Heryon as a world provides a lot of unique environments. Furthermore, the game’s cast of characters each share their own attributes and personalities.
