X4: Foundation’s Third Expansion, X4: Tides of Avarice, Set For Release In Early 2022
EgoSoft released X4: Foundations in 2018 and has released two expansions since then, along with other content. The developers have announced the game’s third expansion, X4: Tides of Avarice. Egosoft are excited to invite space pilots to explore a whole new world. X4: Tides of Avarice will launch in Q1 2022 on PC via Steam.
X4: Tides of Avarice will offer a ton of new content for fans of the game. Players will meet lawless pirates, scavenger factions and other unknown elements throughout space. The balance of justice and peace might just be tipped in favor of violence and chaos. Furthermore, players will venture into new areas and discover new ships, stations and stellar phenomena. Stellar Phenomena is a key aspect of the journey. Are you ready to find the mysterious manipulators of key resources?
Furthermore, the Riptide Rakers in the Avarice System have found a way salvage wrecks and use them in production. Players now have the option of towing the wreck with a tug ship or dismantling the wreck at the site. Players can then use the scraps found at a recycling module to turn it into scrap metal.
Additionally, X4: Tides of Avarice will offer new ships, but two stand out from the crowd. The Erlking is a pirate battleship with an unusual energy source. As players continue to explore, they will improve upon the ship with resources and more. The Astrid is a lavish yacht owned by the CEO of the Northriver Company. The Astrid may just be the fastest ship in the galaxy and truly stands out from the crowd.
