eSports Team Florida Mutineers Announces Its Lineup For Call of Duty: Vanguard
The Call of Duty League is a franchised league system that was introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and is about to hit its third year upon the release on Call of Duty: Vanguard. The tournament’s champions thus far have been Dallas Empire and Atlanta Faze in Modern Warfare and Cold War respectively. The Florida Mutineers were solid competitors in both games, but missed the mark to be champions. The team is attempting to change that in Call of Duty: Vanguard as it has announced its official lineup for the upcoming season.
The Florida Mutineers lineup is Skyz, Havok, Owakening and Davpadie with YeezCF as a substitute and Willett as the Head Coach. The major change for the upcoming season is that Neptune, a former Halo pro and rising star in the Call of Duty scene, is no longer part of the team. It is rumored that Neptune is heading to the New York Subliners to team with Clayer and Crimsix, but that has yet to be confirmed.
Other team lineups have been confimed including the Minnesota Rokkr and Atlanta Faze, who’ve kept the same teams for good reason. The Seattle Surge, Los Angeles Thieves and Los Angeles Guerrillas have announced their lineups, with some major changes which should be pretty interesting.
The two biggest announcements left are the Optic and New York Subliners announcement. The Optic announcement is interesting as there is a rumor that Envy and Optic have merged, with Scump, Dashy, Shottzy and Illey forming a superteam.
